obedience

I was sharing with a friend today how I had been going through such an awful time lately. How it has been better because I have decided to be obedient to what I know God wants. My situation has not changed, but my attutude toward it has. C.S. Lewis said once, when confronted by someone as to why he continued to pray for his dying wife, "Prayer does not change the circumstances, but it works miracles in my acceptance of them." His wife's name was Joy.
